The Man with Straw Hair

Well what a day! Ha isn't traveling fun?! The morning started bright and early at the Boise airport with a whole lotta blue and orange. Yuck. The place was overflowing with Bronco fans headed to the Virginia Tech game. As we boarded the plane, there was a group of about 15 very noticeable bronco fans behind us. The ticket agent looked at them in all seriousness and asked "Are you going to the game?" Haha well the whole group said no right away. It was pretty great, I must admit.

We had a connection in Salt Lake but that wasn't too interesting. Neither was the layover in Philadelphia. It was kind of a dirty seeming city, though. And I'm pretty sure we walked like 6 miles between the gate we arrived in and the one we were flying out of. But we did learn one thing, dirty air makes for pretty sunsets!

When we landed in Paris things were going fine.. Right up until catching the train to Le Mans. Stupid French. Every line was about a mile long. We stood in one forever and when we got to the front it turned out we couldn't even buy our tickets to Le Mans there. So then it was to the information line, then it was to this other line. As Murphy's Law would have it though, we got the dumbest ticket agent there was. Oh yeah, and at this point we'd already missed our train due to the whole mess and had to wait another 3 hours to the next one. Well there was this guy at the train station with this ridiculous hat that he obviously loves. Here it is, Ladies and Gentlemen. He looked like a girl with his back turned. Simply stunning.
